Dirk Michael Horn is a full-time lecturer of political science at California State University, Bakersfield and an ABD Ph.D. Candidate at the University of California, Irvine studying International Relations and International Political Economy. His research and teaching interest include U.S. Foreign Policy, Latin American Drug Control Policy, International Relations Theory, Politics of Mexico and Latin America, International Political Economy of the Illegal Drug Trade, Global Security Issues, International Political Economy of International Growth and Development, American Government, Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methodologies, and Race and Ethnicity in American Politics.
